Joyce Insurance Group – Coronavirus (COVID-19) Safety Precautions and Business Continuity Plan

March  16, 2020

To our customers:

In light of the recent Coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak, our top priorities continue to be the health and well-being of our customers and employees, as well as the prevention of service disruptions to our customers.

To ensure business continuity and the safety of our employees and communities, we have postponed face-to-face operations in all locations. What this means is that we are open for business, but will be conducting all business interactions through phone and email, following best practices in social distancing. Drop-off services will be available in all locations for the delivery of payments and other parcels.

The majority of our staff will be working remotely and are well-prepared to continue to deliver on all aspects of our business — including insurance quoting, payment processing and delivery of support services. We do not anticipate any impact on our ability to continue to render services to our customers.

If you have any questions or immediate service needs, please feel free to call our main office at 570-655-2831 or visit our website at https://www.joyceinsurance.com.

Cyber Criminals Increasingly Target Small and Midsize Businesses

Although large-scale cyber incidents garner major media focus, data shows that cybercriminals are increasingly turning their attention to smaller companies. In fact, 62% of all cyber breach victims are small and midsize enterprises (SMEs), according to Small Biz Trends. Evidence shows that this trend of targeting SMEs will continue to rise.
